“The Iconic Machu Pichhu”
Machu Picchu is qualified as one of the seven new wonders of the world. I was excited as well as nervous a night prior to my hike to Machu Picchu. The weather is very unpredictable in this region of Amazon due to altitude and humidity. Forecast on google showed scattered thunderstorms for all seven days of the week. To my pleasant surprise, when I reached the valley early in the morning, the whole valley was covered with fog. You could barely see 50 feet, leave aside seeing the Machu Picchu citadel. As the sun rose, the fog began to clear, clouds started to break, the golden sunlight shines the stunning creation of the Inca civilization, the iconic Machu Picchu.
