Hidden Jewel of the Paracas, Peru
Despite having lived in a desert of the Middle East and India for over two decades, I am still pleased and surprised by sculptured shapes of the sand dunes.
What's special about this bird's eye view of the Oasis is its shape. It forms the shape of the South American continent.
As often, I was the only one around here. The night was scary as much as the day was awesome.
It was challenging to get there because 1) it is so deep in the dunes, 2) Google Map showed no route to the Oasis, and 3) there wasn't anyone around who I could ask even If I knew Spanish.
